About
A little bit about the Jackson Whole Grocer…
We are a one-stop traditional supermarket where you can buy everything you need for a balanced lifestyle—organic, conventional & specialty items. Everything from award-winning produce and chef-prepared foods … to the highest-quality fresh meat and fish in the region … to decadent desserts made-from-scratch daily in our bakery and everything else you need to support your organic or conventional lifestyle. At JWG, we believe in balance and we support diverse eating habits—from carnivorous to vegan; from conventional to organic; and from butter-loving to dairy-free. The only thing we expect our shoppers to have in common is a love of good food. Renowned in the region for preparing food the old-school way, we rely on hard work and talent to create culinary delights that will satiate the most discriminating palate. And we love special requests. If you can’t find a product you’d like, we’ll order it. Have an event you’d like catered? We’ll do it for you. Need us to make a special dish or dessert? We can do that too.
About our blog…
We do so much under one roof that we needed more room. And so we’re blogging. We hope to expound here in the unaccounted depths of cyberspace on our products, nutrition, natural health care and most importantly, our love for food.
Who’s blogging….
Tibby Plasse, JWG’s Marketing Manager. She’s also a freelance writer. “For years I only wrote poetry, attempted to be a decorative arts aficionado, and not once, not twice but three times wimped out on attending culinary school. I spend my time mountain biking, snowboarding, fly fishing and perfecting recipes for homemade potato chips and tomato pie.” Tibby and Isis (the bird dog) reside in Victor, ID.
Mary Ryan is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Science degree in Foods & Nutrition and the founder of Beyond Broccoli Nutrition Counseling formerly based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and now in the process of re-settling in Seattle, Washington.
